Pazar located on eastern part of Rize, east-west direction of
Hopa – Rize highway. There is Ardeþen on the east of county,
Çayeli on the west. There are Hemþin and Çamlýhemþin on the
south. Black Sea located the north of Pazar.
Pazar’s area occupies 315 square kilometers.
Territory of Pazar is rugged. Deep valleys split the territory.
Rainfall is regular every session. Although summers are cool,
winters with heavy rainfall increase the humidity. Rivers’
regimes are irregular. The biggest river is Hemþin Stream. The
others are Bodasari, Melyat and Hunarsu.
